Experience Designer | Artist | Metalhead
My most recent contract was with Biggoban where I established the Strategic Product Design wing, bringing all web and native application designs under one umbrella and steering the end-to-end development process. With over a decade's experience in design, user research and project management, I balanced business goals and engineering constraints in this young, rapidly growing startup as I delivered soul-satisfying designs for a wide array of industries, including mental health and wellness, real estate, construction, and technological consultancy.
With the creativity and empathy of an artist, I excel in understanding and advocating for the user, factoring in accessibility and inclusiveness. My key strength lies in an unrelenting work ethic and incisive attention to detail, delivering experiences that not only align with the latest design trends but also reflect the business' vision.
I graduated from the University of Toronto in 2023 with a Masters in User Experience Design. I loved learning about the principles and mechanisms of human-centered design, information architecture, and experience journey mapping, and was able to apply the learning experience to real-world projects, such as redesigning the Research Alerts portal for the office of the Vice President, Research & Innovation (VPRI) at the University of Toronto.
I grew up in Dhaka, Bangladesh and moved to Canada in 2018. Located in Toronto, I've been privileged to experience the sights and sounds of the amazing cultural diversity. I love swimming, going on long drives, and listening to progressive rock and metal while writing / drawing original sci-fi graphic novels. The most precious time of my day is going bike-riding with my 7-year-old daughter.
